The 2016 Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta will be October 8-9, 2016

From the 2015 Storm Trysail Foundation
Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta event: CANCELLED

We greatly appreciate your support and eagerness to be a part of this year's IOR. While the actual path of Hurricane Joaquin is still unclear, the potential for boat damage is real. We recognize that many of our Boat Owners will want to move their boats to protected locations. Asking them to undergo the logistical and financial burden of returning those boats to the mooring fields is not reasonable. Storm Trysail puts safety above all other concerns, and as such we have decided to cancel this year's regatta. We are very disappointed but believe this is the best for all concerned, and hope you will all participate in the 2016 Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta.

With so many college sailors participating, the event has become the the largest big boat college sailing regatta in North America.
